Well.......................... I cant sing, I cant act (but then neither could Bowie) and I dont know the meaning of the universe BUT could Elvis strip down a Jennings escalator and put it back together, could Bowie break down a side of beef and could Hawkin tell you who was world speedway champion in 1954...I ask you that!! I rest on my laurels (and very painful it is to)

I don't mean to brag (much) but I share the day with Prince Charles. In fact, I'm a year older. Does that mean I get the throne first?

Suddenly George Michael doesn't sound so bad! ( I think I'd settle for Bowie though )

I wouldn't concern yourself about getting the throne before him John ..... there doesn't seem to be too much enthusiasm over here for him to have it all.
Personally speaking I couldn't give a hoot

If I am awarded the throne, does that mean I have to sleep with Camilla?

Re: Great day to have a birthday
I hereby announce my abdication of the throne, total and complete, now and forever.
I'm sorry to disappoint my royal fans; my first act was to be reversal of the law against private ownership of fruit machines and all things related to gambling. But I must put my private safety and dignity ahead of personal gain.
Ta, ta.

Re: Great day to have a birthday
Sadly .... you can't.
You will recall the outcome of Edward & Mrs. Simpson? ...... He went from being the Commander in Chief of The Royal Navy to the Third Mate of an American Tramp.
Given a Duke's title they had to go and live in Paris and become friends of Hitler.
Enjoy!
