...... I'm fifty sixteen soon and should be collecting my state pension next month. Actually I should have been collecting it last year but the b'stards robbed us!
Re: This brightened up my day...
So young and than with pension?? I will have it when I’m fifty eighteen and three months! That’s what I call robbing. Here it will depend on life expectancy, so each year it will rise with 3 months. So I think I will be collecting pension when I’m......gone.

Re: This brightened up my day...
your in luck then ....you will be getting it early if things continue as they are nowHere it will depend on life expectancy

I have to mention the loss of a few further local businesses around Sussex. The bra manufacturer has gone bust, the specialist in submersibles has gone under, the manufacturer of food blenders has gone into liquidation, a dog kennel sellers has had to call in the retrievers, the suppliers of paper for origami enthusiasts has folded, the Heinz factory has been canned as they couldn't ketchup with orders(but thats bean coming for a while), the tarmac laying company has reached the end of the road, the bread company has run out of dough, the clock manufacturer has had to wind down (it drove the owner cuckoo), the Chinese has been taken away, the shoe shop has had to put his foot down and given his staff the boot , the launderette has been taken to the cleaners, the butchers has got the chop, the undertakers has died a death ,and the people at the jute factory have got the sack,on the plus side the tearooms are still open but have gone off the boil a bit
