Bryans 2d coin slide wanted
Re: Bryans 2d coin slide wanted
Would that be 2p or 3d by any chance? Not aware of 2d coins?! Or am I being thick and completely missed something ?
Re: Bryans 2d coin slide wanted
Geoff, there was a 2d coin produced in the reign of George III (commonly called a cartwheel because it was so thick and heavy) but this was only for one year in 1797. According to the Spink catalogue they can fetch a tidy sum today: more than enough to buy two or three Bryan's allwins.geofflove wrote:Not aware of 2d coins

See that’s what I love about this place. So much new incidental stuff to learn.
So who’s up for converting an allwin to take those? Think of the money you could make….?!
