Re: Decorative edge trim for an Exacta
I found some edge trim that I was thinking of on eBay. Not cheap at £13 a meter but it's going to look great I think.

So finally I have finished my Exacta with the new case I have made. I am quite pleased with it as wood work is not my first skill. I think the trim looks great. It took ages to put on as the corners would cause the bit before and after to lift so had to clamp the strip down as I fitted it.

Nice work that, well done.
I have a very soft spot for Günter Wulff mechanical machines, they're like the Cinderella of my era.
Yet the mechanics are beyond compare when it comes to design.

I have managed to buy some of this plastic gold J profile trim but I had to buy bulk. I will put it on the for sale page over the weekend.

Well done sourcing the trim, I found using a hot air gun on bends and corners makes life a lot easier, especially on T moulding.
