Genco 1934 "SUBWAY" pinball kickers help

Post by gameswat »

Just dragged this out of long time storage to finally deal with. Was given to me years ago because the owner gave up trying to fix. Biggest issue is the missing kicking mechanisms from both lower alloy subway exits. While the playfield shows a Patent number that's no help being for an earlier baseball game and the kickers are quite different. Obviously from the empty holes either side I can see one coil works both kickers with a bar running across. But before I spend time prototyping how to make it work I wonder if anybody here has an example to show a photograph of please? The playfield is also missing the lower arch that sits just above the name Subway which makes the lower half only playable once the balls enter that section via the two bottom exit ramps, the upper three cast alloy holes are to enter the subway. Cheers, rory.

Hi gameswat!

Contact "Deutsches Automatenmuseum" , they have a complete machine in stock, maybe they could help you with pictures.

Thanks all, now sorted with what i need. Managed to find another Genco game 3 months later than mine that had similar kickout tubes called Gridiron. And the IPMD had three photos showing the mechanism, which is same as what I'm missing. !!YIPPEE!!
