I think I was having a moment as I was convinced the road test machine was in the last as well.. Nice period item, loved the dashboard style light/meter window.

As usual ended up machine-less, except the £40 Riviera I picked up on route.

Prices high as usual. Pick of the bandits for me was the Jennings Export Chief. I was not sure about the looks from the pictures but, in person, it was a really cool machine. Surprised the Wonders Quick Returns did not fetch more and can see it did not sell as it is now on eBay, Not a common machine. One machine I was interested in was the little Monimat, but looks incomplete, missing cash tray and I guess still on pfennig.

Above info came from a friend who attended. Should be correct, but you need confirmation.
There was an Export Chief at Junktion Antiques late last year, not sure if the same one though. His was up at 1200.......

Thanks aristomatic, I liked the Export Chief. I'm afraid someone liked it one bid more. I didn't know it was at Junktion.

I passed up on the export chief to bid on the solid front chief. I was the under bidder on it. Both looked nice. IMO the solid front had been rechromed. Much too clean to be original as stated in the description. I must be one of the few collectors willing to pay a good price for a bandit, but my deep pockets only go so deep.......
Surprise for me was the yellow high top which went for £920 I believe! Factor in the commission and that's a grand. Nice return for someone

Anyone got any news on how Steve is getting on? His site has been understandably quiet since mid April and I think they were originally looking at possibly end of April for next auction but obviously that wasn't going to happen after Steve's unfortunate accident so was just hoping he is well on road to recovering OK.

I wonder if this is true?
If it is the case, now would be a good time to list on eBay i suspect????

Not sure I have missed it as saving a fortune I fuel

Still not convinced about eBay person, as machines are still being removed. Also having started listing slot related items I am finding 20% of the listings get delayed by at least 10 to 15 hours. This is obviously while someone assesses policy compliance based on some automated logic triggers in the system. That is my view.....

What the logic triggers pick on I am still unclear as I have not found a pattern.

Listing a machine on eBay is one thing, actually selling something like an Allwin Deluxe for £750 is quite a different thing again.

we mustn't get into this discussion again but I will say this-

I will revise my view that its someone who reports the machines that get removed when anyone answers me one simple question," If ebays automatic police pick up the machines why do modern machines that are still usable as gambling machines and which there are literally hundreds on ebay NEVER get removed and vintage machines that are not usable as gambling machines get removed?" !SMARTY!
