The August 29th. Potter Auction has a Matthewson "Try Your Grip" cast iron strength tester machine. Item #5, pre-auction estimate $12,000 - $14,000 USD.

There is usually something that catches my eye, but a bit of a disappointing selection this time.
By the time you add on the commission, together with the bad exchange rate the $ price is nearly the same as £

I got $1.26 this morning. Hardly a 'bad exchange rate'.
(Unless you can remember the 5/- Dollar!)

PS. I'm UTTERLY amazed that Exhibit Supply Co. copied the Bryan's 'Nudist Colony'!

Just before Brexit it was between $1.50 and $1.60

Hi all

Just in case someone is thinking of bidding on the two allwins ,there both missing parts inside .

the French one has no coin chutes. All three are missing among other parts.too bad the outside looks fine

the win a Nestles is missing the holder for the Chocolate bars,plus the slide ....other than that I believe it’s complete
