Fantastic! Thank you so much for that. Is the aforementioned crown above the instructions on your Cricketer a crest or the three cricketer casting?

It has a coat of arms above the plate and two finials on top. Salter casting. I’ll get some better pics when I get a chance. :)

I didnt want to get caught up in a bidding war on the day, so just chucked a bid in with the auctioneers last week. I thought I stood a good chance @ £12K but seems now
others got carried away. Anyway, the winning bidder likely doing cartwheels now!
Hopefully, stays in UK but I know a big collector in Manhattan posted on another site that he was going to bid, so maybe Jack bought it with an extra bid at the end?

Started off slow and quite a few bidders up to £15,000 and then just a couple slogging it out after that; a couple of last second bids from those that had dropped out pulling back in again along the way.
