Looks a nice one, a Handan Ni 4 Ball catcher....I have one not looking at nice as this. Seems to lack some of the paper work and has it got a top flash which often are missing

Thanks for that Treefrog. No it hasn't got a top flash. It's a nice machine though. I might go for it. It's not cheap though.

The Handan-Ni Multiball is a crackerjack game. It was one of my earlier purchases and it led directly to a cache of 55+ machines that formed the backbone of my collection.

Here is mine before the beauty parlor, plus two close-ups of the top flash:

Funny - I took a picture of the pediment of the machine that sold at the Elephant last year as it looked really good with it on and thought I may develop carving skills to create my own, in my dreams as usual. That was a nice machine and sold for £920 + 10% comm.....

Thanks everyone for your help. I have took the plunge and purchased the machine. Any good wood carvers about?
Is it usual to have wooden balls in this type of machine? I also am not sure whether this other machine of mine should have wooden or steel balls. Both seem to work okay.

Ninecup,

Congratulations! Wood or composite balls. Not metal, for both machines.
