Lubrication of Bandit Arm

Just a quick question for slotties, when you put a bandit arm back into the bandit collar (the bit screwed in the side of machine) what lubricant is the best to use to get a nice smooth handle pulling action? Grease, oil, Vaseline?? If so what type? thanks, M

Hi Malc
When I did mine I just give it a smear of moly grease and it an`t jammed yet and seems smooth enough. It does the job on the drive gear of my Honda 1100, so guessed it would be OK on that as it don't break down like normal grease glob stuff with heat.
