Spot the damaged word ......

Post by badpenny »

Can anyone hazard a guess at the scratched word above W**ze?
I've tried the obvious German words for Winning Line to no avail.

Walze translates as 'roller', 'drum' or 'cylinder'?

"Winze," the German form of "wins." As in, "You ze winner."

I think the problem in finding it is that there is a word in the English(American) language the same as "Winze" its a mining term derived from the German originally I believe which means a vertical column or shaft, as there are two down arrows under the word could it actually mean "column" in this instance! The fact that these are winners is already covered by the top word in the panel

Congratulations to those who said "Walze".
I searched Gurgle for Treff Tempo and found several photos in Images. Following a wasted 20 minutes realising that they were all piccies I had taken and mostly posted here :dammit: ...... I found one photo on The German website Dominatrix/Automatrix (whatever).

I was completely off track, knowing their habit for stringing words together I was thinking of one word for "Poland on just one tank" !PUZZLED!
