Vicman Silver Trail table top pinball machine

Post by reginald »

I have recently acquired this from a family friend and have been doing some digging but can't find another one like it. There appears to be little info available about Vicman other than the address and a mention in a newspaper. Can anyone tell me more...?

You could try asking on the Pre-war Pinball page on Facebook, but they might not know much, as it's English.

Ha! Yes, you're right - it does look lovely but the game itself lacks a little pizzazz. I been looking at some similar models and noticed the fun features more strongly in other designs. I wondered if this was reflective of British culture at this time..?

Thanks for your comments and I'll try the pre-war Facebook page. Keep me posted if you happen upon anymore info.

The only other Vicman product I'm aware of is the Countess Pinball.
It's true that the British never brought much innovation to pinball, perhaps because there was such a wealth of it from America.
