Mills Chicago Upright
Mills Chicago Upright
Thought I may as well add this Mills Chicago Upright machine, not a common site on U.K. shores, sold for £2400 by the same auction rooms as the Manix and QT in Northern Ireland.
I did lots of comparisons to other machines and reckon quite a few parts are missing, probably why being moved on and seller clearly stated a project likely to be missing bits. Was intrigued what someone would pay. Cabinet is odd, totally plain and not like all US versions, also sitting on a wooden plinth. The cast feet sold with it I reckon are not original to the machine.
Anyway someone is brave, maybe we will see a finished item.

Re: Mills Chicago Upright
Interesting TF. I’d love to see it restored. A big project but with the help of the pennymachines family, very doable.
