Watling 1935 Rol A Top Coin Detector rod

Post by pdx_racer »

I was very fortunate to recently find and purchase what appears to be a very original 1935 Watling Rol A Top 10c. As a novice I have a few questions - There are two levers for a coin detection rod but only one of them has a rod attached. Am I missing the second rod or was this for an optional feature?

Also seem to be missing a screw/bolt that guides the escalator arm. Would like to find original parts for replacement. If anyone has these or knows where I could source please let me know.

Hi,
The missing sensor bar is only fitted when tokens with holes in the middle are being used, so don't worry about it unless you plan on using tokens. The shoulder screw is identical to the one that's already in. You can remove that and take some measurements. They do sell separately on eBay,
Regards
