Queen's Platinum Jubilee

Enter the Honourable Judge's favourite tavern for a dram of Tittle Tattle. There's an ancient bandit in the corner, but I forget his name...

Queen's Platinum Jubilee

Post by john t peterson »

A little off topic here but I think it appropriate to recognize your Queen's stellar reign of 70 years. In a world where increasingly brazen crassness and narcissism is rewarded, Elizabeth has stood for modesty, fidelity and steadfastness. Rare traits indeed. So, hats off to your Royal Highness. Long live the Queen!

Yeah, she's not had it straight forward really since her 'orrible anus in 92.
The flypast today wasn't a lengthy exercise, it seemed to be mainly training and logistics aircraft. Although it was noted that the Lancaster got a better reception than those on the balcony did.

I particularly enjoyed the C-130 formation, my old Navy aircraft.

The Red Arrows live just down the road, and their playground is directly above Sally's house.
Apart from when they go and live in The Mediterranean to play in the sun, we get to see them nearly every day.

Even when they've been on a display in UK they return home and use up any coloured smoke they've got left over, hidden in the glove box. So everyone in Lincoln is treated to a "We're Home!" display.
