This guy has taken home-built slot machines to a different level, albeit with some 21st century technology

The short video of the Watling Derby seemed to me not give too much information. Was it was a copy or restoration? The attached article either adds to this or is unrelated - in either case I feel it is worth sharing. It comes from the late Dick Bueschel's coin op classics which ran for only 13 issues before his sudden untimely death. I met him at the Chicago fair in the mid 1990s and signed up for a subscription and bought all the back copies. The first machine was sold to a major collector from the West Coast. I thought I had a photo but cannot find it at the moment.

Thanks for sharing the Coin-Op Classics scans sweetmeats, fascinating article!!
Are these magazines availible online or CD?
I would love to read them in full.

I don't think so. There was discussion about it at CoinOpCollectorForum.com in 2015.
Loose Change is available on DVD and others are online here.
