Build your own bandit stand

Post by radiochrissie »

Not liking any of the modern bandit stands available, I decided to have a go at making one myself. |/XX\|
I basically copied the dimensions from an old stand I have, built the whole thing from one piece of 8 x 4 x 3/4 inch ply. Finished it with stick on vinyl, aluminium foot plate and chrome plastic edging. The whole thing cost about £45.

Well done, it looks the business, plus you had the fun of doing it and the sense of achievement.

Here's one I made last year for my Günter Wulff English conversion Lucky Strike.

To those people who have asked me for drawings of the bandit stand, here they are... I used my circular saw to cut as I found it far more accurate (and less effort) than sawing by hand.
.Maybe these could be added to resources ?
