Some great footage. Jim Crompton always looked the same even when he was much younger. Whenever he was photographed, he always looked as if he was staring straight up into the air instead of at the camera. Must have been his glasses lenses.

Right into old age Cromptons always had him on their trade stand long after he had retired. He was one of the great characters of our amusement industry.

Fantastic films !!THUMBSX2!! I am guessing super 8..... love the Memonic girls...

One thing I have learnt is the origin of the Universal name on the later flat fronted Jubilee machines. They were complete revamps by company of same name of earlier mk1 models.....

Some classic '60s games here. What a shame it's such a lousy film to video transfer.
In the first one I spy a Crompton Wheel a Win (first ever pusher),

Tooty Fruity, Penny Falls, Streets Colourama, Brenco Wheel of Fortune and Mayfield Electronic Dice!

Anyone know what the floor-standing game with the large swinging red arrow is called?

These videos (above and below) are from Jim Crompton's home movie collection, courtesy of Diane Crompton, and have been uploaded to youtube by British Amusement machine arcade historian (and Forum member) Dr Alan Meades, who is keen to identify any people or interesting things in them.
