Gutted I canโt make it. Mothers Day is a definite no go and before anyone asks, she really couldnโt travel anyway. So disappointed but Iโm sure it will be well attended. The Coventry Auction always has the nicest and best price machines. Have a fabulous day all!

Re: Coventry Spring Auction 22nd March 2020
First two pages are up, a third to follow soon, according to Jerry.
Re: Coventry Spring Auction 22nd March 2020
Yes, page 3 is on the way. There's some nice stuff coming up, but a lot for which I don't have full descriptions or pictures at the moment - I'll hopefully be able to fill in the blanks in the next couple of days. So the catalogue's coming along, but I really do need some more entries before you all rush in the day after the closing date.
Please get your entry forms in ASAP, to save me sleepless nights next week, stuck in front of the computer

Re: Coventry Spring Auction 22nd March 2020
For those who have not yet noticed, page three is now up online. There's some nice stuff, including a full set of Bryans 3 Ball allwins, all in superb condition.
There's more entries coming in, so page 4 should be online in a couple of days or so - but it's coming in very slowly! So please, if you have stuff to enter, particularly machines, do get in touch ASAP. Suitable lots might include a big box of spares for example, but if you have just a few bits, let me know and we can probably sell them on my table during the viewing time.

Re: Coventry Spring Auction 22nd March 2020
For those who didn't receive the latest update from me, there's been a change in policy re. spares. Having had a couple of conversations with others, it's been agreed that we will include individual spares in the auction. So if you have any bandit, allwin, electrical spares that you wish to enter, please let me know in the next couple of days.
Page 4 should be ready to view later today, with more lots coming in - it's shaping-up to be another great day!

Page 4 now online, with number 5 well on the way. It's shaping up nicely, but we could still use a few more lots (particularly machines of course)! So if you have anything, please let me know in the next couple of days.
Re: Coventry Spring Auction 22nd March 2020
Page 5 is now ready to view, mostly bandit stuff, including some hard to find spares, plus more machines. There's pictures to be added - some I'm waiting for, others I already have and will be uploaded soon.
There's lots more to come - we really do have an eclectic auction in store for you! However, I shall not be adding any more pages now until I'm ready to list everything in catalogue order - hopefully by the weekend. I'm expecting more lots to come in tomorrow, but after that I really do need to get on with the catalogue. So if you have anything to enter, get them in PDQ, otherwise I'll have to bung late entries in at the end of the auction.

Those of you on the auction mailing list will already have heard the news, which you can read here:

I haven't peddled any self-righteous crap about how important you and your family's health is - that goes without saying, but I'm sure you will all agree that this is the sensible thing to do. Hopefully we'll be back to normal for our November auction.

The last thing we would want would be for any of our older collectors to keel over and have their collections come up for sale afterwards.
Probably the right decision though.

Completely understand Jerry and it is the right thing to do. I only hope that you and Jeremy/et al. will not lose out on any lost deposits for the room/venue.

This is an intriguing comment on the EH site (which could be of interest to Coventry auction setter-uppers) - any suggestions what Steve might have in mind Or is he just playing mind games?
Or Maybe...?
This break has though given us time to think of an entirely new way of bringing buyers and sellers together. One that has never been tried before, and which would, in theory, bring more goodies to the market than our usual auctions ever did. More on that soon...

Iโm a technophobe and have no idea how the platform works but
First thing that sprang to mind when I read it was zoom
