Conveyor & Rollercoaster

Post by glittering-prize67 »

Hi all, not been around for a while. Yes, it was me that made the Conveyors and I made a bigger one called Elevator. I also made two small Rollercoasters and a large one in a dark wood cab called Mountain Descent. I've also made quite a few other games Inc Howzat and Jelly Fingers, which were similar to a clown catcher and table top pushers to name a few.

I'd like to see your home-builds; can you post some pictures?
I'm still on with a Green-Ray variant, which needs to be finished by April. I'm not good at posting pictures, but I'll 'borrow' someone competent when the time comes.
Have I seen your 'Conveyor', years ago?

Not sure if you seen it or not, I did a lot of work for Darren Hesketh too with his old penny arcade, mainly working models.

Pictures from me or the other guy? I'm thinking of making another Conveyor for myself. I've just made a change machine for my jukebox and it's got me in the mood.

An INTERNATIONAL change machine, with a different exchange rate for different coin denominations?

Surely a 'first'?

That’s a brilliant piece of work but you won’t get many takers at that exchange rate :HaHa:

I made this for my jukebox,so you get 3 selections for coins out,it cost £210 for 3 gear wheels I had made for repairing the transfere motors.I like using coins,so I put coin in,then insert the American coins in the jukebox.brill.This was mainly made from old off cuts of wood, but I did buy the motor, gold T molding and dpdt relays

Impressive.
How does the selector work? (between Quarters / Nickels & Dimes, I mean).

It's quite simple. It's basically like a waterwheel - each segment holds coins, and when aligned at bottom they drop out, so I can put whatever coins I want in, and for each coin deposited it pays out whatever is in each section. Works very well too.

So there's no selector; you get what you're given and like it.
Bit like my childhood, then!

Whatever coins come out equates to 3 selections - that's what I've set it to.
