1963 Mills Bucket of Blood
I've seen some odd slot machine themes, but mostly modern-day. I really can't see this 1963 Mills "Bucket of Blood" theme being a big crowd puller. I can't quite make out the special symbols on the belly glass. Anyone know?

Looks like it was themed to operate at the Old West Bucket of Blood Saloon casino in Virginia City, Nevada (and is not referencing Roger Corman's 1959 comedy horror movie of the same name).

Re: 1963 Mills Bucket of Blood
now you can read the front glass in the better photo it's named for the casino for sure, there must have been a good number as they do crop up from time to time. The name "bucket of blood" also crops up more often than you might think as a bar/saloon name. As far as I know, they always started life with another name but were bars where there were a lot of fights and they became known locally as "the bucket of blood" this also occurred in the UK at about the same time but our version was "the blood tub", I know of two in London (Kilburn and Mitcham) although ours have retained their real name as well
