The Charlie Chaplin bit is taken from the film 'Easy Street' where CP as a weedy cop manages to overcome the shear brutality of the local bully by pulling down a gas lamp over the head of the bully and switching on the gas !!! The eye make-up on the bully puts Dusty Springfields eye make-up to shame.

Great film and no, I did not see it first time round !

Hey BP,

I explained the YouTube episode with the two American dolts and their CB nonsense. How about a little help for me with this fellow?

Ah .... Dear old Professor Stanley Unwin deceased :-( , the last inhabitant of the British Isles to talk sense in public.
Extract from Wikipedia : -

..............................his gift came from his mother, who once told him that on the way home she had "falolloped over and grazed her kneeclabbers".

What was astonishing about him was that he was capable of talking unbridled nonsense without being an elected member of parliament. :didact:
