Misplaced queries

I have just purchased a Cromptoms Tooty Fruity Silver Award Machine 2p.
Does anybody have a schematic diagram and or know any supplier of spare parts especially relays for the machine? Also any tips on restoring the cabinet.

Hi, I have a vintage Carfield Club Nudger 1970, and would like to know if there was another one around to compare. Thank you.

British Automatic Company – What kind of machine is it?
Posted in Arena: 09/11/2020
Hello to everybody,
I am Ulrich from Germany and I am collecting old pre-war coin operated machines from all over the world.
I have the possibility to buy a machine of the British Automatic Company, probably from 1910.
Now I have the question to you, what kind of machine is it? What was sold by this machine? Can someone help me to find out more about this machine?
BTW: The seller wants to have around 450 Pounds (500 Euro). Is the Price acceptable?
Regards
Ulrich

Looking for a motor for my brenco ring machine
Posted in Arena: 21/07/2021
We wanted to speed the motor up as it was really slow, so took it to the local rewind factory before lockdown. Sadly they have misplaced the motor, and we had no pictures or markings to locate a new one. Please, if anyone can point me on the right track to finding one, I would be extremely happy as it’s a popular machine in our arcade.

Old Vintage “Shoot” mechanical amusement game by Nostalgic Machines
Posted in Arena: 18/09/2021
I have a Old Vintage “Shoot” mechanical amusement game by Nostalgic Machines. The Footballer is missing has broken, just his foot remains. Otherwise all works fine. I am looking for someone to repair it by making a new one, if possible and if someone could give me an idea of how much its worth as it is please. Thank you.

Re: Repair and restoration help needed
I've just taken delivery of one of these, from Swallow Amusements. It looks to have been outshopped ready for service, complete with Gamblers' Helpline sticker!
There are two kinds of relay; the usual plug-in type, plus a number of printed-circuit types on plug-in boards.
If you tell me what your machine ISN'T doing, I'll go and have a look at what it SHOULD be doing, if you see what I mean.
Do you have the Silver Award on the bottom row only, or does yours have the third column as well?
Re: Carfield Club Nudger
Yes, I have one.
If you manage to get the optical payout to work, do let me know how!

These two machines were erroneously posted as queries in the Museum by unregistered visitor, George Stubbs on 18/12/21:

Sharp eye, Mr. PennyMachines. Looks like both games have had a tidy-up. They look a bit sterile now, particularly the hardware.

JP - the word is HIDEOUS! On seeing the first couple photos I was sure they'd had crappy modern cabinets made with pine. But seeing the before, sure enough there they are. Both just needed a good clean and detail and they'd have been magnificent.

Perhaps the question should be, 'who unmade them?'George Stubbs wrote:Does anyone know the maker of these machines?
I hope the Diamond pinball didn't meet a similar fate.

Re: Misplaced queries
I doubt our UK members can help with this, as it's an American machine.
This one suggests the original paint was pale eggshell blue.
Fawn Manufacturing Corp. still make vending machines (originally as Hawkeye Novelty Co.) : History

Hi
Thank you for accepting me!
I have joined for some advice - I have owned an Aristocrat Grosvenor for around 35 years. It was bought as a prop for a documentary about the Bay City Rollers....
It has sat as a curio in my office - then home since then.
Could anyone give me any info on it and perhaps an estimate for what it might be worth please? I may have to part with it as we may be moving house later this year.
The mechanism still works but there is no key. The lights all work.
Any information appreciated.

How could I find more information on a lock I have, made by Colledge and Bridgen, Wolverhampton. Unusual because it is a penny operated public toilet door lock. The Black Country Lock Museum, West Midlands have said it is a very rare lock but there was no-one there at the time to say more about it. Could you please help.
