Sega Progressive Star electrics
Sega Progressive Star electrics
I have a Sega Progressive Star which I am slowly working on but just one question:
The electric lead had been cut off prior to my buying this at auction (presume for legal reasons?). I'm happy to dabble with the mechanicals but a bit wary about electrics. Before I investigate further is there anything that the electric supply would be for, other than lighting?

Re: Sega Progressive Star electrics
Hi brianh, the electric on my Sega Progressive Star is used for the lighting only.
There are usually flow tubes fitted to the top box, reels / award card and sometimes to the belly to illuminate the jackpot window.
If you find your existing lighting rig is not functional or unsafe there's a topic for fitting LED lighting to Segas which may be of interest.
