Sega Copper Star

Hi everyone,
Please can I pick the collective brains & ask for advice?
I've just bought a Sega Copper Star, was told it needed light restoration & mechanism was separate from the case in collection (due to weight) so never saw it working.
I've popped it back together but when you feed the penny in it drops out the side & down the reject shute. Occasionally it will pass down the play section so you are able to pull the handle but only one wheel spins.
Are there any assembly guides, am I missing something really obvious?
Any help would be appreciated.

Difficult to suggest a single guide, but people can help here and many threads on how to fix things exist.

Perhaps share some pictures of the machine in question. It sounds initially like the coin is being rejected, because either the wrong denomination or there is another coin blocking the next coin.

The single reel spinning maybe a number of things, like timing, gunk gumming up various parts or numerous other causes. Sometimes a video of the action helps
