Looks clear to me……number starts at 1, unless you prefer a higher number to start with !PUZZLED! and special commission clearly stated.

What did throw me was the second part of the two part auction started first, the bikes, which started earlier, I had a mild panic :HaHa:

Saves watching bargain hunt, although not sure how many bargains there will be :HaHa:

It wasn’t the ‘1’ that confused me it was the 1000’s. :HaHa:

As for the ‘special commission’, if you looked at it on either of the auction platforms the rate shown was different. !PUZZLED!

Still, I hope the sellers were happy with the prices achieved.

I had planned to go, until a late job came in meaning I was double booked, but like many other of these auctions and cost of fuel, I save myself £80

Prices were probably expected, both high and low, so the Spicer machines as mentioned burnt, more than half what they sold 4 months ago :!:

Bargain of the day had to be the Double Edgerton Loop at £480……what was wrong with it. This was definitely one for bandit collectors I think

Interesting that the BDR was bought with commission for £495 and it’s a basic model, while I have one for sale at the same price with double jackpot and super jackpot which won’t sell ?

Hi Cottees,

Great to get detailed results as I had already shared what I captured on the day, but I did ask a question about reserves and estimates that never got responded to, eg are reserves above estimates. So below machine finished with no sale, but on the hammer were all above estimate, quite a few in the higher estimate, was there an issue with these lots !PUZZLED!

Lot 5 Little Duke hammer £1300 with estimate £850 to £2000
Lot 21 Mills QT hammer £1000 with estimate £750 to £1000
Lot 42 Jennings Governor hammer £800 with estimate £550 to £950
Lot 43 Juba bandit hammer £600 with estimate £600 to £800
Lot 65 Matthewson hammer £3800 with estimate £2350 to £5000
Lot 88 cigarette vendor hammer £320 with estimate £220 to £420
Lot 95 Jennings Governor hammer £1100 with estimate £1200 to £1400
Lot 132 National Target hammer £320 with estimate £280 to £400
Lot 144 BDR bandit hammer £460 with estimate £450 to £600

Sold today !!

Just goes to show that this site is better at prompting a sale than Facebook where you have tried to sell. Mind you we have discovered now that at the Cottees sale, the BDR did not sell even at £460 (515 with commission), so your machine was a bargain
